This policy describes information used to operate Gather & Glory.
Information Users Provide
We store account usernames, email addresses, and passwords as one-way password hashes. We also store messages and other content users enter into the service.
Gameplay and Account Information
Gather & Glory stores character data, resources and progression, inventory and equipment, combat and activity records, quests, guilds, notifications, messages, and account or gameplay timestamps needed to operate the game.
Information Collected Automatically
Gather & Glory uses its session cookie and authentication state to operate sign-in and core service security. Account-recovery protection may process network-source signals and keyed representations of submitted email addresses to enforce short-lived request limits without storing the submitted address in those limit records. We do not describe analytics, advertising, or payment collection here because this alpha does not include those systems.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to authenticate accounts, deliver transactional password-reset email, operate gameplay, save progression, provide messages and notifications, protect accounts, investigate abuse, diagnose errors, maintain the service, and respond to support or privacy requests.
Cookies and Sessions
The session cookie is used for authentication, security, and core service operation. Gather & Glory does not currently use optional advertising or analytics cookies.
Sharing and Service Providers
Infrastructure providers may process information as necessary to operate the site. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary for legal or security reasons. Gather & Glory does not currently sell personal information.
Retention
Account and gameplay records are retained while needed to operate the alpha, investigate abuse, maintain integrity, or meet legal obligations. Authoritative password-reset credentials expire after a short period and are stored as one-way digests. A temporary authenticated-encrypted delivery copy is retained only for queued email delivery and expires with the credential; credentials are invalidated after use or replacement, and related abuse-limit records are also short-lived. Alpha data may be reset or wiped; no fixed deletion schedule is promised for other records.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including password hashing, one-way password-reset credential digests, authenticated encryption for queued reset-email delivery, single-use reset processing, and secure session settings where configured. No system can guarantee complete security.
User Choices and Requests
Send account, correction, privacy, or deletion inquiries through Support. Automated self-service export and deletion are not currently available, and requests may require verification or be limited by law and technical constraints.
Children’s Privacy
Gather & Glory is intended for users 13 and older, and users under 13 may not create accounts. Suspected under-13 account information can be reported through Support. This statement alone does not guarantee compliance with every children’s-privacy law.
International Use
Users may access Gather & Glory from different locations, and local laws may apply.
